Customer Integration Manager

09:00am- 17:30pm Monday – Friday Station Road, Watford, Daventry, Northampton, NN6 7XY

THE ROLE:

The role is responsible for managing and developing the IT onboarding process for our customers and establishing relationships to support new and existing clients with IT solutions. Working with our global IT team and alongside the Sales team, the role reports to the Sales and Marketing Director and Head of IT. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will be the point of contact for the sales team for all customer IT integrations  

  • Ability to program in multiple languages such as C#, Java (J2EE) 

  • Managing the technical onboarding process for our customers – setting internal and external expectations and communicating time frames 

  • Managing the integration for GRL into E-Com platforms (Shopify, etc), omni channel providers, marketplaces, and client websites 

  • Identifying all problems and pain points between customer facing software and the warehouse system – resolving these issues where possible or analysing and reporting 

  • Managing relationships between clients, sales team, and IT department 

  • Liaising with marketing to ensure we are communicating these capabilities clearly and efficiently 

  • Playing an active role within the IT and sales team contributing to the development and growth of the team and the business.  

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to keep calm in a pressurized environment. 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills at all levels. 

  • Proven experience as an Application developer 

  • Valid Driving License, own transport  

  • Must be familiar with a variety of operating systems and platforms. The ideal candidate will also have an analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail. 

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an IT role in logistics with understanding of warehouse processes 

  • Industry/ecommerce experience – logistics and marketplace interactions 

  • Clear communication skills and ability to communicate with people externally and internally outside your team 

  • Have knowledge and experience using coding systems such as Java, essential, other languages are desirable  

  • Experienced in API integrations, both website and program based with knowledge of API parameters 

  • Mandarin and English speaking is essential 

  • Attention to detail
